OUR PORTFOLIO

Deria Takbir
Commissioned by Maxis, our development team in Ministry XR worked on this award winning product that creates a spatial computing experience for deaf Malaysians to be able to feel prayers during Raya season.

Joint Certification in XR

Ministry XR's collaboration with VR/AR Association - Malaysia Chapter and Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), aims to build Asia’s pioneering XR studio - Verus XR Studio, offering XR certifications.

The Glennie
Memories and emotions are the hallmarks of a human life. How do deaf people recall their lives without music as a stimuli?
Can we use spatial computing to help the deaf community experience what sound is without hearing?

Re:Collection
One of the first dementia care technology products focused on reminiscence therapy, the Re:Collection mobile app was designed in collaboration with Maxis, Leo Burnett and Caring With You Dementia Enrichment Programme Centre.

Myopia Awareness

This was a campaign in collaboration with IPG Mediabrands Singapore using VR to educate parents and children on "Singapore: the myopia capital of the world", where 8 out of 10 children will encounter nearsightedness by the time they are in Primary 6.

Arkle Tech
Using spatial computing, Akrcle trains people with aphasia (PWA) to pronounce words, and appends sounds and/or symbols to them. This is done without reading or writing, which are expressions that PWA struggle with.

UnforgetTABLE
Along with the launch of the Re:Collection mobile app, the UnforgetTABLE is a "smart table" concept that uses 5G, EEG neurofeedback, and an XR interface to conduct reminiscence therapy. Data obtained will be used for further research in dementia therapy.
Elders of Our Forest
This project is a collaboration with Ministry XR and filmmaker, Mahen Bala, to create an immersive and memorable VR presentation of the Malaysian rainforest, in order to raise awareness about the magnificent trees and nature's ecosystem.

ABOUT MXR4GOOD

Ministry For Good is a non-profit Social Impact consultancy platform founded to improve the lives of humanity through working with corporations in their CSR initiatives and with social impact advocates without tech partners.

Corporations have the ability, and interest, in supporting initiatives that can do good for humanity but the options are many and funds are finite; individual beneficiaries work in silos and often times lack the tech expertise and resources to explore new solutions to their problems. We fill this gap by developing working prototypes and scalable plans that has the potential to improve the lives of a wider demographic around the globe.
The advancement of technology that is for the good of the people is often times overshadowed by the need to create huge profits. I believe the future landscape of business will be one that is driven greater by purpose than by profit.

OUR STORY AND FAQ

From MXR to MINISTRY FOR GOOD
In early 2017, Ministry XR was founded with a goal to transform the way we live, learn, work and play with a new and emerging technological paradigm - Spatial Computing.

The founders believe that Spatial Computing was an enlightened approach to how people can interact with computers in a seamless and intuitive way that made technology accessible to everyone regardless of their computer literacy level.

Since its establishment, Ministry XR has grown to be a regionally recognized brand as an expert in strategizing, designing and implementing spatial computing solutions. There are many in the organization who, through the course of their work, have noticed the massive potential that this new paradigm can bring in building empathy and broadening consciousness within society. As industry leaders, we feel responsible in putting our skills and talent to use in developing not-for-profit solutions for the betterment of humanity.

MXR4GOOD was set up in 2019 to fulfill that vision.
The problem with a CAPITALIST world
Ideas with the capability to change the world for the better, to assist the disadvantaged or those with impairment, to create free renewable resources, don’t always look good for the accounting books in the short term.

The MXR4Good foundation is a non-profit entity founded by some of the core members of the MinistryXR Group to harness their creativity, business acumen and technical expertise for the purpose of developing products for the benefit of mankind... because collectively we have the ability to do so; because we can.

As a tech company, MinistryXR’s role was to develop spatial tech solutions for its clients. This means adhering to a specific requirement that’s primarily short term profit driven. These For Good ideas are good but they are not always aligned with a traditional commercial agenda.

That means, the good we can do is limited only by the clients we have. Instead of waiting for a client to approach us with an project, we decided to turn the tables around by creating For Good products that can serve and are self-sustainable.

We found a way to provide a win-win proposal for all stakeholders. Speaking to our clients in the business landscape we discovered that many industry leaders share our vision; what they needed was a champion to spearhead these For Good initiatives so that they may be part of the movement in more complementary position.

That solves just one half of the equation.

The other half is curating and prioritizing the right talent and ideas out there. It takes considerable amount of time to scout for the right innovators and spending the appropriate amount of time to understand the potential of each project before committing our patron's financial resources to development.

Some people may consider what we do a tedious and unrewarding job because there isn't immediate monetary reward but this is precisely the reason why we feel driven to do what we do. Doing good should not be measured by how much dollars and cents the project can make in the shortest time possible but by how many lives it has touched and how much value it has provided to the community that no amount of money can buy.

This is the story of MXR4Good and what we stand for. We invite you to join us in this movement and together perhaps we can be responsible for building a better world that our children will inherit from us.
The Importance of SPATIAL COMPUTING
Spatial Computing is the invisible interface that facilitates how human interacts with computers and the environment around them.

The simplest way to have a better appreciation of what spatial computing can do is by imagining a world where computers are all around us, learning to adapt to us, and with computer graphics appearing in physical spaces as if they are a natural part of the space.
Picture
This new paradigm of computing is as revolutionary as the smart mobile phone was to the trusted laptop/desktop. Every decade, the world experiences a major technological breakthrough that changes the way we live, often times for the better.

For all the convenience that technology has given us, it was not able to replicate one thing: Natural human interaction with the world.

Computers have always required a two dimensional interface. We interact with each other and the digital world through a screen. Spatial Computing have the capability to merge the consciousness of humanity with the digital world through extended reality and other human-centric technology.

Ministry XR and MXR4GOOD see the vast opportunity in this area that can improve people's lives in ways that were not available before.

Our KPI is measured by how many lives we have touched and by how much value we have provided to the community.
